Easy clarity
Hi friend,
Starting with the end in mind is a theme to LIVE by.
Now- beginning with the end in mind may sound depressing. BUT it's not, in fact it's wildly clarifying and I believe we can flourish by living this way.
HOW?
Well, frankly, if we don't think about the outcomes we want - our sense of direction gets sloppy, confusing, and frustrating. ;) Now have we all been there? Yes! Time and time again, I have found myself frustrated that I was clear on my next steps. You aren't alone!
The type of person we want to be is found when we start living life from confidence in knowing the why (behind what we do).
Knowing our why gives us clarity to take ownership of the decisions we make each day.
To know our why I believe we can start by asking ourselves:
“What do I want out of ____?”
"What type of person do I want to be?
“What do I want others to feel when they are around me?"
Now I do know that not all aspects of our lives were a product of the decisions we made, but no matter what background or situation we find ourselves in, we have the power to choose our OUTLOOK and attitude. <3 Choosing to have a why behind our outlook is power.
Believing we are alone and powerless is always our enemy.
With each step we take today in powerful thinking, we exercise muscles in our minds that say: Yes, these things are possible. And yes, I get to choose my mindset right now.
Say it out loud with me, "I am going to start with the end in mind! Knowing my WHY for what I do!".
So, friend what is the END you have in mind for your life?
Knowing this will establish the WHY's behind what you do.
My WHY’s
Life, to gain clarity fast I go back to the basics: Love God, Love others like I love myself.
Work, I want to help people and I know I am called. This is my why. I know I love helping people and God called me to it. I know that I am in a position to help others and get to do this daily. If I feel discouraged I go back to my life clarity above- then remember I am in this to help and equip by the help of Jesus and it brings me SO much joy.
Marriage, I know I want a healthy happy marriage. I know God brought us together. I know I should and can ask God for help. Focusing on being a good friend to Nate helps me love him better- without conditions.
