Swimming above chaos

Hi there!

There are many ideas thrown at us every day.! SO MUCH STUFF. How are you swimming to the surface Peace with all of the things in your daily path?

I feel as though I must not be alone in this “swimming” pursuit. ;)

So, I wanted to put together something to touch your soul and slow you & I both down. Starting with…

  • YOU are loved. I wish I could stand with you and grab your hand right now as you read this - look you in the eye and impart God's love for you. It is infinite - immense- unconditional- radically different than what our brains can easily comprehend.

  • You were created with purpose and intent. You weren't a blob floating around in the universe that somehow landed here unannounced to anyone- you were created by a Living God who designed you to know him and walk with him for eternity! (which is so epic to ponder whenever I am feeling a bit jaded or confused in life;))

Now, my little tip that helps me after I remember my purpose of being here and receive true love that comes from the Lord.

  • Pick one thing that came your way today that grave you clarity and excitement- either a new idea, opportunity, word from God ——> Let that one thing that brought you some clarity and excitement be a thing you dwell MORE on!

  • The stuff that makes you confused- distracted- weighed down. ——>Take that off your mind. Turn your thoughts to life-giving - clarifying things.

I have found it SO helpful that the Bible talks a lot about taking thoughts into captivity.

What I mean is picking and choosing what we dwell on in our minds. There is SO much in there of "putting on peace" or "letting peace reign" or "think on things above- no things below". This is interesting and reassuring because it shows me that God knows that we have to navigate the things that come into our paths daily.

God knows that we will face troubles of various kinds, thoughts that don't serve us, sickness, worries, chaos etc. He also gives instructional aid in the Bible and then the gift of living life truly connected to him.

Now I do not wish to turn this into a sermon but only to reiterate the truth I know that helps me stay rooted - that helps bring me life- restoration- peace. :)

I hope that some of this brings you a revelation of goodness in your life.

-That if you are facing chaos at the moment- an antidote for it.

-And if you are facing great joys- a reminder to give thanks and really ENJOY it. :)

-A dark place is never forever- and that you are loved.

If you want encouragement today, call that friend of yours. The one who listens to you and then helps encourage you, pushing you towards the light. Don't stay isolated. <3

Much love First name / friend  ,

Sarah
